Twitter RSVP is used to help manage product launches at Nike Stores. Follow your local Nike Store on Twitter for launch announcements and frequent updates.

The Twitter RSVP Process:

• On the RSVP date, our store will send a tweet at a random time to begin our Twitter RSVP process, including a product specific hashtag (#tag).
• Once registration is open, you must Direct Message(“DM”) the store within 60 minutes. The DM must include:
  1. The product-specific #tag tweeted by the store
  2. The last 4 digits of your State/Passport/Military/School ID number
  3. Your shoe size (limit one).
• Confirmations from the store will be sent via DM to those who have successfully secured their requested size. Shoes will be awarded on a “first respond, first serve” basis.
• Confirmed recipients must pick up their product (in person w/ identification) from the store on the day of launch. Unclaimed product will be announced on Twitter and will be re-released at the store’s discretion.

How do you properly RSVP through DM?

• Step 1: Make sure you are following the stoe Twitter account in order to send a DM.
  Note: Nike does not need to follow you because its Twitter accounts are verified
• Step 2: Watch for the store to send a RSVP tweet at a random time on the designated RSVP day.
  Example Tweet: Twitter #RSVP is now open for the Air Foamposite One.#Electrolime
  
• Step 3: you respond with a DM to the Nike store Twitter account.
  Example DM: #Electrolime, 4253, 10.5
  [unique #tag], [last 4 digits of ID], [shoe size]

Going down to All-Star Weekend was a great sneaker vacation. Many sneaker releases were schedule to drop this weekend and I was also very excited to participate in some of the sneaker related events. Aside from the All-Star festivities and sneaker releases, Jordan Brand hijacked the FootAction located in the Florida Mall. Jordan Brand created the ultimate sneaker experience and also restocked many previous releases from last year and some from this year.

I started my sneaker vacation arriving in Orlando on Thursday. Upon arriving we stopped at the Florida Mall before checking in the hotel. Each sneaker store there was packed full of people inquiring about the All-Star Game kicks that were releasing soon. On that day the Nike Air Fight Ones released in 2 colorways, one Orlando Magic and the other a Galaxy. On the same day 3 colorways of the Nike Dunk released, which included a removable swoosh and tongue logo. After leaving the Florida Mall we went to the Mall at Millenia, where there was a line for the ASG kicks releasing the next day.

Me and my friend got in line as #23 and 24, after which we received a ticket to purchase the shoes the next day at 3.  We checked in our hotel after getting our tickets. The Knicks played the Heat that night, so we went to the Alehouse to get drinks and watch the game. Myself being a huge Carmelo Anthony fan, was there in my Knicks jersey cheering for my team. I was probably the only Knicks fan at the bar. The Knicks lost which almost killed my night. To continue the night we went bar hopping downtown.

Friday started late around noon where we have a late breakfast at the Waffle House. From there we went back to the Mall at Millenia to pickup our kicks. Unfortunately, we had to wait 2 hours before UPS dropped of the store’s shipment. A small shipment with about 5 pairs for each size. At #23 I was able to pickup a pair of Dave White 1′s. My friend got the ASG LeBron 9′s. I was salty because I wanted to get them got but my size was gone. We then went to eat at a Chinese Buffet that $17 per person, we’ll never go there again lol. We watched the All-Star festivities at the Hotel and went to a party after that.

Saturday began late with a Breakfast around 11 at IHOP. After which we killed time going to some of the Premium outlets. Around 2PM we went back up to the Florida Mall where Carmelo Anthony was making an appearance at the FootAction and the Jordan Flight Lab.

We were unable to get in the packed Footaction, but did get a chance to see Melo at the Jordan Flight Lab. We took a tour through the Flight Lab learning about the upcoming Jordan 2012. We were able to view videos from the designers and players on Team Jordan. We also got a chance to try on and test the 2012′s on the Jordan court setup outside of the Florida Mall. But the Jordan events didn’t stop there.

After that we went to the Orlando Sports Center to take Flight with the Jordan Brand Flight Ambassadors. At the event we did rigorous drills testing the Jordan 2012 with Idan Ravin, Carmelo Anthony’s trainer. The drills had me gassed but were very helpful. While there we got to meet April Holmes a gold medal Track & Field runner, who was also working with Idan Ravin.

That night I received 2 passes to attend the Carmelo Anthony and Fabulous party at Vain. I must say that it was the most fun I had in along time at a club. Many stars and athletes showed up to the party. We wandered around aimlessly downtown after the party until we got back to the hotel.

Sunday was the day we were finally able to get in the Footaction without there being a long line. Jordan Brand took over FootAction with an interactive Jordan 2012 display setup. The setup display each model of the 2012: #FlyAround, #FlyOver, and #FlyThrough. Jordan Brand put the whole Jordan Collection (1-2012 in White) on display. Jordan Brand also allowed customers to create there on personal Jordan shirt which cost about $30. The madness and long lines for FootAction came for the surprise releases Jordan Brand had each day. They restocked on the Jordan Retro 4(White Cement), Retro 10(Chi & Royal), Retro 3(Flip), Retro 11 (Concord). Not to mention the Jordan 2012′s, Dave White 1′s, Spiz’ike, and YOTD 2012.  I was able to pickup and extra pair of Dave White 1′s and a shirt. My friend got some Retro 10′s and a Jordan book-bag.

We we schedule to leave Monday afternoon, so after checkout we stopped by two Nike Outlets, one a Factory Store and the other the Clearance store. There I found some AM 90′s for $40 and some Nike Elite Basketball socks.

My All-Star weekend experience was amazing, I only regret not going to the NBA Jam Session which I had multiple tickets to. Next year I plan to attend All-Star Weekend in Houston, Texas and hopefully have an even better experience.
